Surbhi Soni at Indian Art Circle

“Art remains a strong contender of how we share our thoughts and ideas. Art has been a tidal wave of information, an unpredictable source of imagination a lovely way to express”, muses Surbhi Soni. She has always been fascinated with colours and the joy that they  bring. “My art is for everyone, to behold and to enjoy.” The pursuit of personal joy is serious business and it gives her immense joy to create; to paint from the heart. Her creations portray truth, beauty and honesty of the subject ; whether it’s flowers, figures or horses. Her paintings derive inspiration from nature. As flowers spread their beauty, fragrance, truthfulness, honesty irrespective of their surroundings; she likes to spread the same through her art. Her paintings stand for inspiration, desire, love, and the metaphysical striving for the infinite and unreachable. They symbolize hope and the beauty in simple things. Through her art, she urges everybody to be a happy, happy soul. She chooses to paint from the heart and evoke her personal vision into each painting. Each painting is meant to liven up any wall or any space that is given to it. Professionally painting, teaching and lecturing since 1997, she has been in conversation with colours and their various moods. Her experience  has been her mentor and she has gathered an immense pool of knowledge by tutoring others. She prepares candidates aspiring for design and architecture colleges, both in India and abroad, and provides vocational training in the field of art. In association with Camlin, Dainik Bhaskar and All India Council for Child Welfare, she has held art competitions and art camps to promote art amongst the masses.
