“ Purnendu Mandal did 5 year degree course in Bachelor in Visual Art from Government College of Art & Craft, under Calcutta University in 2003. He has done 28 Solo, 62 Group, 21 International, 18 National Level Exhibitions at renowned art galleries in India and Abroad. He has also done 15 National and International Art Camps and Workshops. His paintings have been painted in semi realistic, Abstract and impressionistic style. His paintings mainly focus on urban landscape and life as well. Many of his paintings have been collected privately in India and Abroad such as Washington, Loss Angles, New York - USA, London - UK, Dubai - UAE, Russia, Australia, Italy, Norway, Belgium, Singapore, China, Keniya, Bangkok - Thailand, Taipei - Taiwan and all over India. His creations received due recognition at both National and International levels. He has been honoured with many prestigious awards. Now he is working as a freelance visual artist and lives in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, India. ’’
