Aradhna Tandon at Indian Art Circle

Aradhna Tandon is a visual artist based in Chandigarh who paints oil & acrylic on canvas.

Her artworks uses everyday motifs – like houses, furniture, human figures and elements from nature to depict the human condition. The artworks depict love, tenderness, compassion, introspection, melancholy, egotism & surrender in all starkness.

She has been painting and exhibiting the last 30 years. Some of her works evoke the moody quality of Frida Kahlo’s, while others bring to mind the sensibilities of the French artist Louis Toffoli.

Her work has been exhibited widely – across exhibitions both in India and US. The emotional content in her works easily creates a connect with the onlooker -- communicating in a simple language that is expressive in its content, profound in its treatment and human in its appeal.
