  • He has created many graphic murals for public spaces including a 260ft. long mural at Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi.
  • The Sanskriti Award was presented to him in 1981.
  • Inspired by Zen, Satish Gupta wrote also book of haiku poems "The BrokenWave" published in1985. His poems have been translated and published in Catalan and in Spanish.
  • In 1986 he published a portfolio of his charcoal drawings, 'Vibrations', based on hymns from the Rigveda.
  • In 1990 he designed the stage for a concert by Pandit Ravi Shankar at Sin Fort auditorium, New Delhi, with nine suspended canvases of the moon and clouds.
  • He calligraphed his poems on large scrolls at the International Poetry Festivals in Spain "La Costa Poetica" in Altea, 1995 at "Adentissima" in Murcia, 1996.
  • In 1997, Satish Gupta exhibited his Zen sculptures ranging at Art Today in New Delhi.

  • In 1998, he created a group of five metal sculptures ranging in height from 3 m. to I 0 m. and weighing over 10 tons. They were inspired by The Five Primal Elements and are displayed permanently at the Jindal Centre at Bikaji Cama Place in New Delhi.
