RENAISSANCE GALLERIE - A PROFILE

In l993 Renaissance Gallerie opened its doors to usher in a new order of art and culture. An Art-Gallery by design, Renaissance has built its foundations on the promotion of artists and the inculcation of art-appreciation among. Its populous.
Renaissance exhibits paintings and sculptures of artists both famous and promotional. Renaissance takes pride in introducing at least two new artists every year and catering to India's best during the remainder of the time. Renaissance recognizes the need for more widespread art awareness. In its bid to cater to the public, both art-enthusiastic and not, Renaissance has ensured that each exhibition opening is flavored with a culturally artistic twist. Music recitals, dance performances, theatrics, and special guest appearances allow for Renaissance to make the non-art-enthusiasts more comfortable with affending exhibition openings and paint a brighter opportunity for art-appreciation to spread and maybe even produce some connoisseurs.
Renaissance's elite guests of the past have been those from the ranks of Ananth Nag, Dino Morea, Vasundra Das, Shoba De, Girish Karnad, Ministers Rani Satish, Ramakrishna Hegde, Roshan Baig, and RV Deshpande, Vijay Amritraj, Vani Ganapathy, and Arundati Nag among others. These big names have flaunted the works of KK Hebar, Jamini Roy, Samir Mondal, Badri, Sunil Das, Jatin Das, Gogi Saroj Pal, Sanjay Bhattacharya, and Satish Gupta, to name a few.
Renaissance has adopted the Windsor Manor Sheraton as its partner in exhibition openings. This allows for large-scale events and an extensive invitation base. This partnership has brought in the best performers and has given Bangalore a spectrum of colorful events.

Renaissance, now a landmark of Indian Art, continues to embody the artsy glamour of a Brave New World.
