Sudhir Pant
After an all too brief association with the Faculty of Fine Arts,
(1963), Baroda,
Sudhir Pant has lived and worked in Delhi, exhibiting in the capital
and Bombay,
between 1967 and 1972. The next two decades were spent copy-editing
books,
translating Hindi fiction and poetry into English and holding on
to an editorial job
with the Patriot/Link group, He can, of course also be tabled as
the reluctant author
of a severely mauled biographyof Md. Asaf Ah. After a long sabbatical
from painting,
he began painting again in 1998.
