IAC EXHIBITIONS:

Since the year 2000 of the launch, Indian Art Circle has consistently presented several contextually relevant, content wise high quality, curatorially honed,  and commercially successful  physical art exhibitions, warmly welcomed by the art-lovers & media alike.

  • "Spirit of Art 06"

Another edition of our annual Spirit of Art show. The event was organised at the Academy of Fine Arts & Literature, Siri Fort Instnl. Area, April-May 06. A collection of paintings by some veteran artists like MF Hussain, FN Souza, Anjolie Ela Menon, Arpana Caur, Suhas Roy, Sunil Das, Laxma Goud,  and some promising mid career & younger artists like Mona Rai, Seema Kohli, Meena Deora, Shruti Chandra, Hukum Lal Verma etc. View Online

 

  • "Weaving Legacy V"

A celebration of the legends of Indian art, along with legends in the making. Featured works of artists like Krishen Khanna, Rameshwar Broota, Anjolie Ela Menon, Arpana Caur, Jayasri Burman, Anupam Sud, Laxma Goud etc.

  • "Revert to Nucleus - Women on Women"

23 acclaimed women artists of India came together to celebrate the International Women's Year 2004, with Indian Art Circle. The exhibition was originally curated under the aegis of ICCR by Gargi Seth, but abandoned midway- it was adopted by IAC, only to be a huge success at, and in collaboration with, The Ashok,  April 9 to 18th 2004.

Artists included Anjolie Ela Menon, Arpana Caur, Anupam Sud, Gogi Saroj Pal, Vasundhara Tewari, Jaishree Burman, Rini Dhumal among others. www.indianartcircle.com/revertnucleus

  • “Birth of Planets”:

December 2003, Habiart Gallery, India Habitat Center – maiden solo of Neeta Dogra, exhibition in aid of SAHAS

  • Co-supported “Threshold":

Transcending Eras”, July 2002,
Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Center.  Maiden solo exhibition of Preeti Varma.

  • “Spirit of Art” :

 April- May 2003, again in aid of VSAI. Organised in two legs at the Crowne Plaza Surya Hotel, New Friends Colony and the Open Palm Court of India Habitat Center The collection included K T Shuvaprasanna, Paresh Maity, Sanjay Bhattacharyya, Jagdish Dey, Jagdish Chander, K Damodaran, Rini Dhumal, Mona Rai, Meena Deora, Shruti Chandra, Suhas Nimbalkar etc. www.indianartcircle.com/spirit-of-art

 

  • “Weaving Legacy I”:

September 2001, the ITC Maurya Sheraton. As part of our first anniversary celebrations, Indian Art Circle organised a mega group show. So named, because it brought together the legends of Indian Art – in aid of Very Special Arts India (VSAI), an NGO working for physically challenged child artists.


        The show featuring works of several of the eminent artists associated with Indian Art Circle
, was the first physical show organised by IAC. The exhibition was resoundingly successful in content, conduction, presentation and media coverage. Collection included F N Souza, M F Hussain, Anjolie Ela Menon, Krishen Khanna, Sanjay Bhattacharyya, Gogi Saroj Pal, Jatin Das, Vasundhara Tiwari, Mona Rai, Suhas Nimbalkar, Amitava Das, Rini Dhumal etc. www.indianartcircle.com/weavinglegacy-1

  • Very successful launch of India’s first truly comprehensive website on Indian art and craft (Launch -2000) with excellent media coverage and reviews in September 2000.
  • Featured 77 artists, craft types,

  •  Complete treatise on evolution of Indian art right from the Harappan period
