Wrought Ironware: Though
modern in origin, the craft of moulding wrought iron into contemporary
artefacts has been accepted into the vast artistic milieu of India as one
of it's own. Iron rods of different diameters and softness are hand moulded
on wooden 'adda's, which are custom made for each lot. The various moulded
rods are welded together and then ground to smooth out the welded joints.
Finally, a after various finishes, the product is powder-coated in black
using guns.
Numerous finishes are available and impart many different looks to the finished product. IAC sourced it's collection directly
from it's partners, Art Advent, ensuring reliable quality and enticing
prices.
