Terracotta: Terracotta
craft involves using clay to prepare reddish brown unglazed earthenware
intended as building material. The earthenware is also hand-modelled into
various figurines, votive images and plaques. Terracotta is moulded in
many states into figures inspired by local legends and iconography, and
has been practised for centuries, sine the Harappan civilization.
IAC has collected numerous such artefacts
for our patrons and welcomes bulk-buyers.
